Moving To Colorado!

by Tara Jacobsen on December 27, 2008

So we are on the track to move to Boulder Colorado during the first part of 2009! John (my husband), Linda (my MIL) and I (Tara Jacobsen) are hitching up the wagons and heading out to Colorado.

John has a great job and they have made it possible for us to move without having to sell our beagle (a bonus to Sidney, I am sure!). I will keep you informed of our progress, but for now here are the players:

Me (Tara) – Owner of Marketing Artfully – a marketing consultation company. Thanks to reading The 4 Hour Work Week a number of years ago, I am place-less and will be able to conduct my business easily from Colorado via phone, email and Skype.

Johnny – My husband and main breadwinner of Chez Jacobsen. He is a fabulous photographer and you can look forward to seeing many great pictures of our new Colorado neighborhoods!  He will be posting here and on his “real” blog G33kart.com.

Linda – My Mother In Law, also a fabulous photographer and my shopping buddy. She will be doing the heavy lifting when it comes to having to eat out and find great little shops and stores!

Sidney and Sammy – Beagle and sprinkler spaniel – these two are our “babies”. They will be traveling with Mom and I out to Colorado. Both are a little concerned about the packing going on BUT are excited about all of our practice trips in the car!

Kitty (Pepper) – Our beautiful cat. She is SO not on board with the move. She doesn’t like change and especially hates when she gets left alone. She bites so we try and keep her happy…:)

Muffy and Maple – Mom’s “girls” – they are two of the cutest little Cairn Terriers you ever did see. They will be a part of the 3 day overland trip that we take to get the doggies out to Colorado.
